Handmade pleated lampshade in Studio Supple textile Sia, in colour Sakura. Originally an 18th-century French fragment, Sia’s design began as a floral block-printed resist on a dark madder, ground siamoise cotton. The original print was reinterpreted by introducing new floral motifs and hand-painted elements using watercolour, inspired by nature’s quiet details: sycamore seeds; delicate seedlings; and organic foliage, bringing a fresh, layered dimension to the historic design. Lined with cotton, the soft linen fabric lets through a lovely warm light. Candle clip fitting.
