Terms & Conditions

General
All orders placed, whether verbally or in writing, indicate acceptance of Studio Supple’s Terms and Conditions of Trading.
These Terms and Conditions may be updated and are subject to change at any time.

Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions, and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.

Jurisdiction
Each party irrevocably agrees that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions or their subject matter or formation.

Prices
Studio Supple reserves the right to alter prices or withdraw textiles from the range at any time without prior notice.
Prices are often quoted per order quantity and/or project. Studio Supple endeavours to ensure customers receive up-to-date price lists; however, customers are strongly advised to confirm prices before finalising orders and ensure the expected price is stated on the order.

Payment Terms
Invoices are issued on a pro forma basis unless otherwise indicated, with payment expected within 7 days upon receipt.
Studio Supple does not accept payment by debit or credit cards.
All prices are in GBP, and payment must be made in full without any deductions.

Delivery
Delivery is quoted per order.
While every effort will be made to meet delivery expectations, all dates are approximate only. Failure to deliver on a specific date or time shall not render Studio Supple liable for damages, lost time, or consequential loss.

For international shipments, the recipient is considered the importer of record and is responsible for any taxes, customs duties, or import fees levied by the destination country.

Cancellation
All cancellations must be made in writing.
Cancellations will not be accepted if production has commenced or if textiles have been cut.

Claims
Claims for non-delivery, shortages, faulty materials, or damage must be made within 15 days of the invoice date.
No claims will be accepted once the goods have been cut or processed.

Returns
No goods will be accepted for return or credit unless previously agreed with Studio Supple.
A handling charge will be applied to all approved returns.

Warranty
Any reported issues will be fully investigated.
If a fault is identified within the first 12 months, the affected fabrics will be replaced, provided they were used according to the recommended performance guidelines and under standard environmental conditions.

Liability of Supply
Liability for any fault or defect is limited to the purchase price (excluding VAT).
This condition takes precedence over any third-party terms of purchase.

The company name may only be used on a website if it does not harm Studio Supple’s image or reputation. Permission for linking is at the company’s sole discretion.

Colour Fastness
All textiles contain natural fibres and are not guaranteed against fading, particularly when exposed to direct sunlight or moonlight.

Colour Batches
Colour variations may occur between batches.
If an exact match is required, please request a cutting from stock prior to ordering.

Technical Details
Studio Supple provides advice upon request; however, the customer is solely responsible for determining the suitability of textiles for their intended use.
Studio Supple offers no guarantee regarding deterioration resulting from improper use or adverse environmental conditions.

Approval Samples
Non-returnable cuttings are available for all textiles upon request.

Orders
A cut fee of £25 (ex-VAT) applies to orders under 2 metres.
Reservations will be held for 10 working days, after which they will automatically expire.

Tolerance in Quantity
Please allow for a ±10% tolerance in quantity for all production orders.

Flameproofing and Other Treatments
Additional treatments to enhance fire retardancy or performance are available at extra cost, quoted per order and material type.

Studio Supple accepts no liability for changes in appearance, handle, or other characteristics resulting from treatment.
A processing allowance of 30cm and 3% shrinkage should be considered.

All fire retardancy treatments are durable for up to 5 dry cleans.
Indicative certificates from the treatment house are provided upon completion. If an independent certificate is required, this remains the customer’s responsibility.
