PENELOPE CHILVERS

Set in a particularly charming part of the Cotswolds, we collaborated with Penelope Chilvers to create a retail space that feels both eclectic and unique. 

Honouring features introduced by the previous owner, as well as raw materials intrinsic to the building’s heritage, we layered the interior with antiquities and textiles to give it a refreshed identity and renewed character.

Penelope’s work is truly iconic and it naturally served as our starting point, alongside the building itself, a stunning, historic gem. We aimed to craft a space where tradition blends with individuality: a comfortable and inviting environment brought to life by artisan-crafted murals, locally sourced antiques, and a mixed palette of beautifully soft and rich earthy tones designed to let the shoes take centre stage.
